Alexander Scott  Murdoch was a member of the Canadian Overseas Expeditionary Force.

According to the attestation papers, his wife, and next-of-kin was Jane Murdoch.  They lived at 404 College Street, Winnipeg.  He was born on the 10th November 1880.  

He used (?) to belong to the 5th Bn. Black Watch (Royal Highlanders) and then joined the No. 18 Coy. Canadian Army  Service Corp.

The Declaration made by Alexander, and the oath taken by him are dated 12th February 1915.  The Certificate of Magistrate was, originally marked "Winnipeg - 12th February 1915, but has been over-written, as far as I can make out, "Quebec - 15th March 1915".

His age at signing was 34 years and 3 months.
