Here is mentioned a Pte W. Lauder, of Blairgowrie, who served in the 2nd Dragoons (Royal Scots Greys)..... Enlisted 1899.  Served in South African War.  Wounded in the Magaliesberg district, September 1901 (Queen's medal, with clasps "Cape Colony," "Orange Free State," "Transvaal," and "South Africa 1901").  Still serving.
