There appear to have been two George Maver Frain Calder’s born in 1917. One in Blairgowrie and the other in St. Machar, Aberdeenshire. These must be one person, but registered in two different places, as John Calder and Georgina Maver Frain were married in St. Machar on 15 October 1913 at 12 Nellfield Place, Aberdeen. He was 36, and a journeyman upholsterer of 15 James Street, Blairgowrie, son of John Calder (deceased), journeyman cart wright, and Elizabeth , nee Law. Georgina was 35, a shirtmaker’s examiner, of 12 Nellfield Place, Aberdeen, daughter of James Frain, journeyman house painter, and Helen, nee Maver. Witnesses were James Alexander Calder and Robina Maver. The dates make John b. cir. 1881, and Georgina b. cir. 1882.
