"Private George F. Bradley, Australian Imperial Force, son of Mr. Frank Bradley, Croft Bank, Coupar Angus, was, according to official intimation received on Tuesday from the High Commissioner's Office, London, killed in action at the Dardanelles between August 21st and 25th.  The intimation was accompanied by a note of sympathy from the King and Queen.  Private Bradley was born at Blairgowrie 26 years ago, but spent most of his life in Coupar Angus where he served his apprenticeship as a joiner with the late Provost Adam.  About three years ago he left for Australia, and early this year he enlisted at Sydney."
