Born cir. 1913. I think he was registered in the Ruthven area of Angus, which is right next to Alyth. William and Edith were married on 18 April 1913 at 16, South Street, Kirriemuir (Edithís home). William was 26, a ploughman, living at Burnhead, Bendochy. His parents were James Blair, ploughman, and Agnes, nee Middleton. Edith was 20, and her parents were Robert Beattie, labourer, and Maggie Beattie How Brodrich, nee Muir.

James Blair and Agnes Middleton were married on 24 January 1879 at Downfield Parish of Mains (Agnesís home). He was 27 and a farm servant of Something of Craig, Alyth (canít read the writing). His father was Robert Blair, agricultural labourer, and Isabella, nee Robertson. Agnes was a 23 year old domestic servant, daughter of James Middleton, ploughman, and Elizabeth Brown, power loom worker. Witnesses were Robert Blair and Isabella Robertson.
